Now: haymaking, St John's wort at full strength
Workshop · garden · family

This workshop has a home.

In the garden — beds of sage and calendula; herbs drying in the attic; sourdough bread cooling on the windowsill. This is not a production line. It is a home where things are cooked.

Lana's facets
GardenBeds of sage, calendula and chamomile under the window. I know every bush by name.
Sourdough breadI bake on Sundays — the same logic as in a cream: time and temperature.
KnittingStitch by stitch, on winter evenings — the way a formula comes together.
Natural fabricsLinen and wool, nothing synthetic — skin breathes in clothes too.
Slow livingTea, a book, quiet. Beauty begins with how you live.

I am the joining of these facets.

The four from the workshop
The dogFirst out on the path after chamomile.
The catWatches the scales more strictly than an auditor.
A pair of rabbitsHeads of the carrot tasting department.

Every two or three weeks I write a letter: what bloomed, what was cooked, what was baked and what was knitted.
