Why this plant is in the formula
Rosemary doesn't grow on the alpine meadow — the oil we use is Mediterranean, harvested in spring when the shrub flowers and the leaf holds the most active substance. Rosmarinic acid and carnosol act as a natural antioxidant and tone the scalp, which is why rosemary turns up more often in shampoos and hair care than in face creams. The origin is labelled honestly — the same way my garden is labelled on the chamomile and calendula sheets.
